Opened in May 2014, Mercure Bendigo Schaller celebrates the work of Australian contemporary artist, Mark Schaller. Inspired by Schaller’s own working studio, The Schaller is the place for quiet reflection and creative work. With original artworks in every room, an 8m high mosaic on the exterior of the hotel and large scale sculptures littered across the landscaped gardens, you can immerse yourself completely in the creative process.

Next to the new Bendigo Hospital redevelopment at the corner of Lucan and Bayne Streets, guests have access to all Bendigo has to offer. Only 1km from the town centre ensures that nothing is too far, including Bendigo Art Gallery and Information Centre.

Boasting 118 accommodation rooms, combining signature comforts with the latest in technology - 46” TVs, coffee pod machines, free WiFi, wireless docking stations, Signature beds, luxe EVO products, mini bars full of local produce and outdoor balconies on every room.

Facilities include 24-hr front desk, airport shuttle, arrival/departure lounge, bar/lounge, business centre, dry cleaning/laundry service, luggage storage, on-site parking, porter/bell service, self-service laundry facilities, tour desk and WiFi access.  

Massive edgy communal spaces are filled with art journals, books, art utensils and an art channel. Onsite restaurant, The Pantry, offers food for thought and grazing type meals, helping fuel your creativity. For a multifaceted art inspired experience, regular art classes, art tours and artisan markets will be on offer.

There are two boutique conference & event spaces for up to 50 people with flexible setup options. The Workshop offers an inspiring space lit with an abundance of natural light, splashed with vibrant Schaller original artworks and sculptures. The Lobby Lounge, in the centre of the action, makes use of the lobby’s modern, edgy surrounds - ideal for small gatherings and semi-private breakout areas.
