Located in the Victorian goldfields region and just 75 minutes from Tullamarine Airport, the Mercure Ballarat Hotel and Convention Centre features two restaurants with superb cuisine, a world class day spa, fitness centre and team building activities, along with a total of 88 accommodation rooms (including 17 new rooms added in 2017) & 9 x Two Bedroom Apartments.

A stylish hotel in a garden setting opposite Sovereign Hill and just 5 minutes from Ballarat CBD, Mercure Ballarat provides conference organisers with an accessible retreat for events, just over an hour outside of Melbourne.

This venue offers great versatility with its extensive range of multiple meeting and syndicate areas, catering for up to 1,000 delegates. All meeting rooms feature natural light, extensive AV facilities and high speed broadband and WiFi internet access.

REVIEW: A very good venue which could be improved with more attention to detail

"Generally a very good venue with facilities really well suited to our programs.  A few small minor complaints at times - water jugs not being filled up every break, coffee pots only re-filled twice a day, the heating/cooling a little spasmodic and also the delivery of our materials to the function room isn't happening - the trainers on occasion need to chase staff up who are usually sitting in reception.  Just the attention to details/small things as mentioned could be improved to lift this to a great venue."
