The National Gallery of Australia is a unique and creative alternative for your next event. Offering a range of venues and services in the heart of Canberra, it is the perfect place for gala dinners, cocktail parties, weddings, conferences, annual general meetings, Christmas parties, workshops, presentations, product launches, corporate and private functions.

Venue catering is provided exclusively by The Big Group. The Gallery's largest available space at 470sqm, Gandel Hall, is a majestic multi-purpose space that is sure to make an impression on your guests. The hall is spacious, light-filled and exquisitely detailed with gold leaf doors and red, iron bark floors. It has floor-to-ceiling windows which open onto the Australian Terrace.  The terrace being a stunning outdoor events area in its own right, featuring brilliant views of the picturesque Australia Garden and James Turrell’s monumental Skyspace, Within Without.

Gandel Hall can accommodate up to 350 guests for sit down events and 900 guests cocktail style. It can also be divided into smaller sections for more intimate sized groups.

Beautifully packaged up for us, delivery process fast and reliable, and Nicole couldn't have been more helpful in turning around such a large order on such short notice ensuring we had everything needed for the trade show...
