The Westin Sydney is a world class hotel that flawlessly combines Sydney's historic General Post Office with a modern 31-storey tower, and some of the most comprehensive hotel banquet, catering and conference facilities in the city. Located within the No. 1 Martin Place complex, the hotel is in the centre of the CBD, on the doorstep of the best shopping, restaurants and tourist attractions in Sydney.

There are 416 luxurious rooms and suites with a choice of contemporary or heritage style rooms, all featuring the famous Westin Heavenly Bed. Tower Rooms have crisp white linen, chrome, aquamarine glass and floor-to-ceiling windows providing brilliant natural light, while Heritage Rooms are carved from the original GPO building and echo its historic charm with high ceilings and antique window fittings.

Services provided for guests include a Business Centre, Executive Club, Concierge, Valet, and broadband and wireless internet access. Savour the culinary delights of Chef Massimo Bianchi at Mosaic Restaurant, and also take advantage of a stylish Bar and Lounge. The hotel also has 24-hour in-room dining. There is the Joh Bailey and Gloss salons for hair, body and beauty treatments, The Health Club, and designer fashion boutiques such as Zoya Karman, XILE Versace Classic, Anthea Crawford and XSRE. The GPO Restaurants and Bars, on the lower level of the complex, include Prime Restaurant, Post Seafood Brasserie, Sosumi sushi train, a pizza bar, oyster bar and a gourmet wine and cheese store.

The technologically advanced Grand Ballroom is located at the base of the Tower building. The room is impressive in size, and is Sydney's largest pillar-free hotel ballroom, offering seating for up to 1,000 guests banquet style or 1,200 theatre style. A versatile space, it is easily dividable into four separate sections. The Heritage Ballroom is located in the restored GPO wing, and in years gone by was the first telegraph exchange in Australia. The room features a magnificent 11-metre gold dome ceiling, circular windows and original turn-of-the-century details.

The Heritage Conference Centre and the Barnet Room, also located in the Heritage wing, boast a total of eight fully equipped meeting rooms, perfect for smaller events, breakouts and board meetings.
